Many Wrexham.com readers will already be aware of the news that Catrin Pugh was involved in the bus crash in the Alps on Tuesday.

Today the Foreign Office formally released the names of people injured in the crash, with three Britons still seriously ill. Sadly Catrin is one of the three, with her name only formally released after full family notification.

Since the incident on Tuesday good will messages have been sent to her by friends in Wrexham, by those who were also on the coach and those who were working with her.

Catrin was returning to Wrexham via Manchester after working a ski season in the Alps when the incident occurred.

The coach crashed as it travelled down a steep mountain road, which features 21 hairpin bends, with French officials stating they believe brake problems are a likely cause.

The coach had 51 people on board, the driver was sadly killed in the incident and a further twenty five people were injured.
