Wrexham have drawn Leicester at home in the FA Cup….assuming they beat Newport in the replay!

The reds have had an eventful few days, with a big FA Cup game against Newport at the weekend unsettled with the banning of then manager Sam Ricketts from the ground due to his flirting with Shrewsbury Town.

Ricketts cemented his move formally earlier today drawing to an end his brief tenure of the town.

The newly available managerial position was already a tempting affair with the club flying high in the league, but an added bonus of a cup run could be a further incentive.

Winners of the next round tie will receive £135,500 and a place in round four, plus a possible TV bonus if selected for broadcast. Ties will be played on the weekend of the 4-7th of January.

Wrexham first have to see off Newport County away at Rodney Parade which is pencilled in for Tuesday 11th December, but could change if selected for TV coverage.
