Woman Hospitalised Following Late Night Collision on A483

A woman has been taken to hospital following a collision on the A483 late last night.

Shortly before 11pm last night emergency services were called to a collision on the A483 Southbound, between the Gresford Roundabout and B&Q Roundabout.

Two cars are thought to have been involved in the collision, with one person telling us that one car was on its side.

As a result of the collision the road was temporarily closed off while emergency services attended the scene – with traffic diverted off the Gresford turning.

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called shortly before 10.50pm on Thursday 14th July to reports of a road traffic collision on the A483 in Wrexham.

“Two emergency ambulances and a rapid response vehicle attended the scene and a female was transported to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”

The extent of the woman’s injuries have not been confirmed.
