Drug Driving Arrest ‘Whilst Doing The School Run With Children In Car’

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of drug driving after failing a roadside drugs test ‘whilst doing the school run’.

Police have said, “Shortly before 9am today a woman failed the roadside drugs swipe test in Hightown, Wrexham whilst doing the school run.

“The 32-year-old tested positive for cannabis and was arrested on suspicion of drug driving.

“She has since been bailed pending the results of further tests. She also had two children in the car.”

Later this evening in a separate incident a man was charged over a drink driving incident at 6 o’clock this morning in Wrexham town centre – where he blew 107mg against the legal limit of 35.
