Witness appeal after man wounded in face with a hammer

Police are appealing for witnesses after an incident left a man with injuries to his head.

North Wales Police have said a man was arrested around 11:30am this morning “after committing a wounding offence on another male by using a hammer”

The incident took place on the A5152 Bradley Road.

Police are appealing for any witnesses to call them on 101 quoting reference W028045.

As of this morning a suspect was in Wrexham police station custody.

We are told the victim is being treated for a mouth/face injury.
