Warning issued after youngsters seen climbing scaffolding in Brynteg

A warning has been issued following reports of youngsters climbing scaffolding in the Wrexham area.

The scaffolding is located around the Darby Road shops in Brynteg, with reports that despite a number of warnings, a group have been seen continuing to climb it.

A statement posted on the NWP Rural Policing Facebook page overnight noted that a young girl fell off the scaffolding last week. Thankfully she was not injured.

The statement continues onto say: “Despite our repeated advice, the youngsters keep climbing. Parents, please reiterate the dangers so that no-one else falls off.”
