Two more vehicles were subject to arson overnight in Caia and Hightown.

Posting on our forums in the early hours of today user RhosdduCowboy said: “Might just be coincidence (bonfire celebrations) but a Ford Ka was on fire in Percy Road, Wrexham at 10:45pm tonight. The Fire Service were first on the scene shortly followed by the Police. Another arson?”

Sadly the Fire Service have confirmed to Wrexham.com that the incident was indeed deliberate saying they were called to two car fires in Wrexham overnight – both of which were started deliberately.

The first incident took place at 10:41pm on Percy Road, Hightown. The vehicle was left with 80% fire damage to the bumper and 50% damage to the boot of the car.

One pump from Wrexham extinguished the blaze and the cause of fire is confirmed as ‘deliberate ignition’.

Fire crews were also called to a second fire on Wynnstay Avenue, Caia Park at 4:54am.

The vehicle has 100% fire damage to the passenger compartment and also damage at the front of the vehicle, which is believed to have been caused by a crash prior to the arson.

One crew from Wrexham attended the blaze and again was deliberate ignition.

Many thanks to @SquireYorke for tweeting us @Wrexham the above picture of the fire damaged Ford Ka.
