Two Arrested After Yesterdays Student Street Robbery

Following a street robbery in the early hours of yesterday morning police have said they have two people in custody suspected to be connected with the crime.

At about 1.15am on Wednesday January 15, a student was making his way home along Chapel Street in town when he was threatened and had property taken from him by two men, one brandishing a knife type weapon. The victim was not injured.

North Wales Police have today said “Two men have since been arrested on suspicion of robbery in Chapel Street Wrexham”.

“The two suspects are in custody at Wrexham police station.”
