The family of a 21 year old woman who died in a serious collision in Brymbo on Monday evening have paid their heartfelt tribute to her.

Carys Ann Wright was killed after the car she was travelling in, a blue Peugeot 106, collided with a Renault Laguna on B5105 Vicarage Road, Brymbo at approximately 7.20pm on Monday evening.

The news comes just 16 months after her twin sister Amy committed suicide by jumping off the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct in September 2010.

Carys, who left behind an 11 month old son called Noah, has been described as a fantastic mother by her family who said she will be sorely missed.

They said: “Carys Ann Wright was the mother to 11 month old Noah, partner to Adam Hind, daughter to Michelle and Ian. Granddaughter to David, Eileen, Mary (deceased) and Errol.

“She was a fun loving person and a fantastic mother to her little sweetheart.

“‘Cazz’ as she was known to her large group of friends will be dearly missed. Carys will be sorely missed by everyone, but she will never be forgotten.

“Good night Princess from Adam and Noah James.”

Carys took part in a large number of charity activities and her family have requested that any donations made in her memory be given to either the Welsh Warriors, Macmillan Nurses or Nightingale House Hospice.

The driver of the Peugeot Carys was travelling in, a 21 year old man, was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

An inquest into her death has been opened and adjourned till a later date with the provisional cause of multiple injuries given.
