Trains Cancelled Between Wrexham General And Chester Til Noon

A broken rail has caused train cancellations until around lunchtime today.
Arriva Trains Wales say train services running through Chester-Wrexham General/Shrewsbury stations may be cancelled, delayed by up to 45 minutes or diverted.

Disruption is expected until 12:00 midday.

Train services are being diverted via Crewe with replacement road transport in place between Shrewsbury and Chester via Wrexham.

This was initially reported as a signalling failure.
