Three people flee from scene after car crashes into wall and rolls down embankment

An appeal for information has been launched after a car crashed into a wall and overturned in Wrexham – with three people believed to have fled from the scene.

Shortly after 10pm last night several people contacted Wrexham.com regarding an emergency service presence on the Whitegate Road area of town – with reports locally that a vehicle had been seen speeding before crashing into a wall and overturning.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police confirmed they were called at 10:17pm following reports that a silver Peugeot had collided with a wall in Connor Crescent and rolled down a bank and overturned.

The occupants, believed to be two males and a female, fled the scene.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 quoting reference number V127153.
