Three Arrested After Early Morning Centenary Club Incident

Three people were arrested after police were called to Glyndwr University’s Centenary Club in the early hours of this morning.

Wrexham.com has been told that there was an altercation between two groups inside the club.

North Wales Policed have said: “We can confirm that police were called shortly before 2:30am this morning to a report of a disturbance at the Centenary in Wrexham.

“Officers attended and three people were arrested”

One person has been arrested for affray, one for public order and one for assault.

All three are in police custody at this time and enquiries relating to the incident are ‘ongoing’.

The Centenary Club is under one of Wrexham Football Club’s stands and owned and operated by Glyndwr University. Student accommodation is meters away in the controversial ‘Wrexham Village’ flats.
