A scheme that offers up to 30 hours of free childcare for eligible will be rolled out across Wrexham County Borough from early 2019.

The ‘Welsh Government Childcare Offer for Wales’ is already in place across several town and cities across Wales.

It provides parents of three to four years olds living in the area the chance to apply to access up to 30 hours per week of combined Childcare and Early Years Foundation Phase Education during term time and up to nine weeks of childcare (30 hours) in the school holidays through the Childcare offer.

The scheme has previously been trialled locally in several areas of Wrexham, however it has been confirmed that it will be available in all wards in the county from January 2019.

Wrexham and Flintshire Councils are working together to provide the Childcare Offer in Wrexham.

Wrexham parents can check their eligibility and apply on-line on the joint online system hosted by Flintshire Council for the Childcare Offer in Wrexham.
