Get your wands and Hogwarts acceptance letters at the ready for an afternoon of witchcraft and wizardry!

The Wrexham Library will play host to its annual ‘Harry Potter Book Night’ on Thursday 7th February in what is set to be its biggest celebration yet.

Wizards, witches and muggles of all ages are invited to take a journey to Hogwarts and have their picture taken in the Great Hall or try their hand at some Quidditch.

There’s also the chance to visit the cupboard under the stairs and take part in plenty of magical games – including a treasure hunt, fancy dress competition, wand raffle and ‘snitch pong’!

Plus find out your wizarding name and which Hogwarts house you belong in and have a go at Harry Potter quizzes and activities.

There will also be a Waterstones stall selling Harry Potter goodies and a fancy dress competition.

All ages and magical abilities welcome but children under eight must be accompanied by an adult.

The event will be on between 3pm and 6pm.

For any enquiries email [email protected] or call the library on 01978 292090. (Owls can also be sent to the nearby owlery at the Guildhall)
