A ‘stolen’ motorbike was involved in a single vehicle collision near Erbistock Bridge yesterday afternoon.

A number of people contacted Wrexham.com yesterday afternoon to say they had seen someone driving the bike around as well as police activity in the area.

One person contacted us to say they had seen someone riding the motorbike on the A483 without a helmet on shortly before 3pm yesterday.

Another told us they had seen the vehicle “crashed into the curb on the Erbistock bridge”

It is reported that four police cars attended the scene.

A spokesperson for North Wales Police told Wrexham.com that the rider was arrested on suspicion of UTMV (Unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle)
