Share your views tomorrow on Rob’s plans to beautify Wrexham space in honour of Ryan
Parks and Wrex – the project that aims to create a “vibrant community space” on Henblas Street – will be in Tŷ Pawb tomorrow to ask the public to share their views on initial ideas and concepts.
The project aims to transform the former Hippodrome cinema site into a vibrant public space in the heart of the city, and was announced last October by Wrexham AFC co-chairman Rob McElhenney in honour Ryan Reynolds.
Project lead Bryan Swarberg is encouraging people to come and meet the team and ask questions in Tŷ Pawb tomorrow. He says: “ The main goal is to get early insight and opinions on our ideas and intentions, from the community and local businesses, to make sure they have an influence on the space before we get deep into planning. We’ll be here to answer any questions and be aware of any concerns.”
You can pop in to meet the team and learn about the plans between 11am and 2pm tomorrow, Friday March 15.
Councillor Nigel Williams, Wrexham Council’s Lead Member for Economy and Regeneration, said: “This is a really exciting project and another example of how Rob and Ryan are making a real difference in Wrexham. The project fits in well with our placemaking ambitions for the city centre and the early proposals for developing it into a community space are really intriguing. Please pop along to Tŷ Pawb if you can, and share your thoughts and ideas with the project team.”
