Traffic is currently building around the A483/A5 towards Chirk – with reports that a section of the road has been closed after a 4×4 has overturned.

Currently there are long delays and a build up of traffic on the A5 southbound near Halton and A539 J1 Ruabon, with the road blocked.

One report stated there is an overturned 4×4 vehicle with a trailer.

Police have told us they were called at 3:51pm to a one vehicle road traffic collision involving a ‘lorry’. Thankfully there are no injuries reported.

PCSO Dean Sawyer tweeted the above picture of the queue just before 6pm.
