Two Charged For Theft At Town Centre Jewellers

Police have said two men  have been charged and remanded in custody  following  a theft at a Wrexham town centre Jeweller’s shop on May 1. Michael Leon Williams, 20, from Wrexham and Andrew James Park 20, from the Manchester area have been charged with theft and are due to appear before Llandudno magistrates tomorrow, Saturday May 3.

Hales the jewellers in Bank Street has suffered a theft this afternoon.

Two PCSO’s and two further members of the police are currently on scene, with a counter inside the shop being subject of their interest.

Police have confirmed they were called at 12:26pm to the shop, after two men stole two trays of rings.

There were no threats, violence or weapons involved.

One of the males is described as wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, has short hair and in his early twenties. It is thought he has a liverpudlian accent.

The second man was wearing a navy coloured gillet with yellow trim.

Anyone who may have information is encouraged to call the police on 101.
