Man hospitalised following collision in Gyfelia

A man has been hospitalised following a collision in Gyfelia this morning.

Emergency services were called to the collision on the B5426 Gyfelia shortly before midday.

The road was closed in both directions from the A483 at Ruabon towards the Eyton Roundabout, with a man being cut free from a vehicle.

A spokesperson for Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at approximately 11.35am this morning to reports of a single-vehicle road traffic collision in Gyfelia, Wrexham.

“We sent a crew in an emergency ambulance and a paramedic in a rapid response vehicle, and a man was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
