Woman Suffers ‘Potentially Serious Injuries’ After Car Leaves Road Near Rossett

A woman has received ‘potentially serious injuries’ following a collision in Holt early this morning. 

Earlier today Wrexham.com reported that Rossett Road, Holt was closed both ways after a vehicle left the road and crashed into a field.

The incident took place between Borras Road (Holt) and Daisy Lane (Rossett) and the road remained closed for over three hours while recovery and investigative work took place.

As a result of the collision motorists were advised to take alternative routes and avoid the area.

A spokeswoman for North Wales Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 7.07am this morning, Tuesday 10 November, to reports a car had left Rossett Road in the Holt area of Wrexham.

“We sent a High Dependency Service vehicle to the scene, and a woman was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with potentially serious injuries.”
