Road Blocked After Vehicle Overturns Near Pentre Bychan

Two men have been taken to hospital this afternoon after a vehicle overturned in the Pentre Bychan area of Wrexham.

The incident took place shortly after 2:30pm this afternoon, between the B5605 Wrexham Road (Pentre Bychan) and B5605 High Street (Johnstown).

Two police cars attended the scene, along with a rapid response vehicle and two ambulances.

Ali told Wrexham.com: “Accident blocking road at bottom of Vinegar Hill, Rhos – Talwrn road legacy. Avoid the area.”

A Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called today (Thursday December 24, 2015) at approximately 14.00hrs to reports of a road traffic accident involving one vehicle in the Pentre Bychan area of Wrexham.

“We responded with one rapid response vehicle and two emergency ambulances and after treating the two adult male casualties at the scene, they were conveyed to Wrexham Maelor General Hospital.”
