A car was torched in Caia Park late on Sunday night, and a reward is being offered for information to find those responsible.

The car arson occurred on Falcon Road just behind Ysgol Morgan Llwyd. Two crews from Wrexham fire station attended the scene in the early hours of Monday morning.

Police confirm they were also called to the scene just after 11pm , and are treating the incident as arson.

Another car, believed to be a Vauxhall, was also damaged due to its proximity to the fire.

A friend of the car owner Many Neal has said “If anyone has any info on who did this a substantial reward will be available if the person or persons who are responsible are caught. Please let Wrexham police know.”

“There were 2 kids aged 7 and 8 in the house when this car was set off – they could of been killed!”

If anyone has any information please contact North Wales Police on 101.
