A Wrexham man described as a ‘prolific offender’ by North Wales Police has been jailed for three years.

Lucas Partyka, 24, of Queensway, appeared at Mold Crown Court yesterday for sentencing having pleaded guilty to two offences of burglary of a dwelling, unauthorised taking of a motor vehicle and drug offences.

He was sentenced to three years imprisonment.

Det Inspector Neil Harrison from North Wales Police said: “The sentence given to Partyka is welcomed and ensures that the public of Wrexham and the surrounding area are protected from Partyka’s persistent offending.

“Being the victim of a burglary has a devastating effect, which can take a long time to come to terms with.

“Offenders such as Partyka show a complete disregard to their victims and North Wales Police will robustly pursue those responsible for such offences to ensure our communities remain safe.”
