Police appeal launched after car set alight in Caia Park

An appeal for witnesses has been launched after a car was set alight in Caia Park during the early hours of this morning.

North Wales Police and North Wales Fire and Rescue Service were called to the 4×4 fire in Y Wern shortly after 3am.

The rear of the vehicle was set alight – sustaining 20% fire damage.

PC Thomas Hough tweeted the featured image this morning, stating that emergency services attended the scene very quickly and urging anyone who may have been travelling along Prince Charles Road at that time to get in touch with police.
