A planning application to build seven detached houses in Rossett has been submitted to the Council.

It is proposed that the residential property is built on the land to the rear of the Nags Head pub on Chester Road in Lavister.

It is also stated that a new car park for the Nags Head and an access road will also be created.

The proposals show that the two storey houses would offer a maximum occupancy of five people per dwelling. An integrated garage would also be provided with the new houses.

Currently the land is occupied by the pub, car park and fields that are used as paddocks.

This is the third recent development proposed using pub carparks or close land, with one in Marford Hill and another at the Green Dragon in Hightown.
