Pedestrian Dies Following A5 Collision

A pedestrian has died following a serious collision on the A5 late last night.

The road traffic collision took place on the A5 between Llangollen and Chirk at 11pm last night.

Inspector Chris Griffiths from North Wales Police said: “A vehicle collided with a pedestrian which has unfortunately resulted in the death of the pedestrian. The next of kin have been informed.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have any further information is advised to contact North Wales Police on 101 quoting incident number S185445.”
