Olympic star Beth Tweddle to visit Queensway Stadium

Olympic medalist Beth Tweddle will be visiting Queensway Stadium this Saturday.

Gymnastics star Tweddle, 28, one of the most recognisable faces of London 2012 after winning Bronze in the uneven bars, will officially open Wrexham Gymnastic Club’s Summer Fair.

Beth, who last week announced her retirement from the sport, will be on hand to meet fans and sign autographs at the fair, which will raise money for the Gymnastics club.

The fair will run from 12-3pm and will feature a BBQ, and inflatable assault course, a variety of stalls and games for all the family. Fans will also be to have their photo taken with Wrexham FC’s FA Trophy.

Beth Tweddle is the most successful British gymnast in history, becoming a three time World Champion and competing in three Olympic Games.

Since winning a medals at London 2012, Beth went on to win ITV’s Dancing on Ice, and has expressed a desire to develop future gymnastics talent following her retirement from the sport.
