Main road closed in Gresford after collision involving car and a child

The B5445 is currently closed both ways for traffic after an incident on the old Wrexham to Chester road through Gresford.

Update: The Welsh Ambulance Service have said: “We were called shortly after 3.30pm to reports of a road traffic accident involving a car and a pedestrian on Chester Road in Wrexham.

“We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, and a child was taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital.”
