Vacant retail space in Wrexham town centre is set to be converted into office accomodation.

In an application submitted to Wrexham Council it is proposed that an empty building on Charles Street is converted from retail usage to make way for office provision.

The building had previously been occupied by ‘Wrexham Balloons and Gifts’, however has been vacant since the store closed.

Details provided within the application state that the building will now be used as an office for a recruitment agency, claims management and insurance broker.

The change of use of the building means that almost all of the properties on Charles Street are occupied by independent businesses.
