UPDATE: The road fully reopened shortly after midnight.

UPDATE: The incident has taken place on the A483 itself just after the Gresford junction itself. The road is closed northbound, with traffic being taken off at that slip road, driving around the lower Gresford roundabout, and then back on the bypass via the on slip.

The incident appears to have involved two cars, with one remaining spun around.

Southbound traffic is unaffected.

Original information below…

The northbound A483 is closed late this evening.

Diversions are in place after an ‘incident’ close to the Gresford junction, believed to be a multi vehicle collision.

Large queues are forming behind the closure.

More shortly.
