Night time road closures on Watery Road / Bradley Road roundabout start tonight

Motorists are being warned of a series of evening road closures on a town centre roundabout.

Starting from tonight the Watery Road / Bradley Road roundabout will be closed to all traffic over the next five nights to allow for resurfacing works.

The roundabout will close at 20.00 hours and open at 00.00 tonight and continue these closures until Friday 6 March.

The roundabout will be open to traffic as normal outside of the above hours.

There will inevitably be disruption to traffic and drivers are advised to avoid the area and allow additional time for journeys during the works.

Cllr David A Bithell, lead member for environment and transport, said, We apologise for any inconvenience caused whilst these essential road improvements take place and have planned works at these times to minimise traffic in and out of the town centre.
