Three people have been taken to hospital following a four car collision in Wrexham earlier this morning.

Shortly before 9am this morning there were reports that four vehicles had been involved in a collision near to the junction of Croesnewydd Road and Ruthin Road.

As a result of the collision the road was partially blocked, causing long tailbacks and delays for motorists in the area.
