A motorcyclist was involved in a collision near the Wrexham Industrial Estate this afternoon.

The collision took place near the roundabout on the Llan Y Pwll Link Road towards Wrexham shortly after 2:30pm this afternoon.

Kathy told us that a wagon and a motorcyclist were involved in the collision and that police officers are in attendance.

As a result the road is down to one lane and there are some delays in the area.

A spokesman for the Welsh Ambulance Service said: “We were called at approximately 2.15pm this afternoon to reports of a road traffic collision involving a motorbike at the roundabout on Holt Road, Llan y Pwll, Wrexham.

“A crew in an emergency ambulance is currently at the scene.”

It has since been confirmed a man has been taken to Wrexham Maelor Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
