Motorcyclist Dies After Fatal Collision Near Mold – Man Arrested After Failing Roadside Drugs Test

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man has died following a road traffic collision near Mold.

Shortly after 10am today North Wales Police received a report via the Ambulance Service of a two-vehicle collision on the A541 and junction of the A5118 in Mynydd Isa involving a Ford Fiesta and a motorcycle.

Sadly, the motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services attended the scene. It reopened shortly after 3pm.

The driver of the Ford Fiesta has been arrested after failing the roadside drugs swipe test and he remains in police custody.
