Wrexham-based telephone answering company, Moneypenny, is further expanding its team as it recruits staff for its new bespoke Live Chat service.

The new service enables visitors to Moneypenny’s clients’ websites to chat to people instantly.

The Live Chat team will answer and respond to chats on clients’ behalf, just as they do with calls. The service is available as either fully outsourced or to simply look after chats clients themselves can’t get to, both in office hours, weekends and evenings. Moneypenny is already working with businesses both locally and nationally, and demand is increasing rapidly

Moneypenny are now looking for staff to join the full time Live Chat team – with “excellent computer and writing skills” required by the new recruits.

The Live Chat team will look after client chats overnight from 8pm to 8am so availability to work night shifts is required on a four days on, four days off basis.

Salaries start from £16,000 and after the initial ‘get to know you’ six month trial period, roles become permanent.

Joanna Swash, MD of Moneypenny said: ‘We are very excited about the launch of Live Chat as it gives customers another route to communicate with businesses as not everyone wants to call all of the time.

“It is also excellent for customer service and will increase the number of enquiries generated for our clients. Moneypenny is a great example of this, as we recently launched Live Chat on Moneypenny.com and it has already increased our enquiries by 30%.

“Our key strength is that we really understand what our clients need, this combined with our unique out of hours and overflow service, for when clients are at lunch or in meetings, is already proving very popular.

“By looking after some or all chats exactly as if based in their office, clients see immediate results in sales and service levels.”

Last September Moneypenny opened its new state-of-the-art offices on the Western Gateway site in Wrexham – the only offices in the area to have its own pub and treehouse!
