North Wales Police are appealing for help to trace a 39 year old man missing from the Buckley area of Flintshire since 4pm yesterday.

Darren MacFarlane was last seen at his place of work and has not been in touch with friends since. Enquiries to trace him have so far been unsuccessful.

Sergeant Philip Wright at North Wales Police said: “Mr MacFarlane is around 5’ 8” tall, of slim build with short dark brown hair and a full beard. He wears glasses and speaks with an English accent.

“We believe he could be in the Trevor area and I would ask anyone who thinks they may have seen Mr MacFarlane, or knows of his whereabouts, to contact police as we are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare.

“We are also appealing to Mr MacFarlane himself to contact police, family or friends to let them know that he is safe and well.”

Anyone who has any information should contact police on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 and quote Missing Person Ref 14153.

Alternatively, contact the control room direct via the new web live chat http://www.north-wales.police.uk/contact/chat-support.aspx
