A Wrexham-based mental health charity have paid tribute to a local building firm for its kindness and generosity.

Malcolm Davies & Sons after the company donated and fitted a new window to Advance Brighter Futures’ (ABF) premises at Belmont Rd, Wrexham.

The mental health and wellbeing charity needed a new window in order to meet fire safety regulations, so approached the company to see if they would be interested in carrying out the work.

The builder made it clear they would like to supply the materials and their time free of charge.

Lorrisa Roberts, chief officer at ABF, said: “We’re really grateful to Malcolm Davies & Sons for their incredibly kind donation.

“It’s a reliable company we’ve used previously when we’ve needed building work at our premises, so we were absolutely delighted when Malcolm made this donation to us.

“We’ve always been impressed by Malcolm and his team when they’ve carried out work for us in the past, and they’ve always provided us with a caring service.

“This donation has shown and reinforced to us that they genuinely do care.

“Like many small charities, the pandemic has hit us hard, which has been tough as our services are needed now, more than ever.

“The money we’ve saved can go directly to helping local people, at a time when they need us, and this is thanks to Malcolm Davies & Sons. We can’t recommend them highly enough.”
