Man ‘verbally abusive’ and attempts to throw bottle at District Nurse conducting visit in Brynteg

Local police have launched an appeal to identify an unknown man who was abusive towards a District Nurse.

The incident took place just over two weeks ago in Brynteg.

Police say, “Just after 1.40am on the 8th May 2020, an unknown man has stopped a healthcare worker and District Nurse on a visit they were conducting on Derby Road, Brynteg.

They state the man jumped in front of their vehicle and touched the bonnet of the car, and he also attempted to throw a bottle while being verbally abusive.

He is described as being white, of large build with either red or ginger hair, in his 30’s about 5ft 7 inches in height and having an English accent.

He was wearing a beige checked shorts and a red and black baseball cap.
