A twenty year old man was arrested and cautioned after making a ‘nazi salute’ on Sunday at the Remembrance Service in Wrexham town centre.

This morning Wrexham Town Policing Inspector Paul Wycherley tweeted as follows regarding the incident:

North Wales Police said that the incident occurred by the service that took place on Queens Square on Sunday morning.

UPDATE 3pm: Police have issued a clarification saying “The incident in Queen’s Square Wrexham during the Armistice Day silence where a 20 year old man made a fascist salute, for which he was arrested and subsequently cautioned, took place on November 11th and not at the Sunday ceremony as first stated.
