A Wrexham man is appealing for help in finding two motorists who helped save his son’s life.

Mark Hughes tweeted Wrexham.com yesterday to say he wanted to pass on his gratitude to two people who helped his young son, who suffered a sudden seizure in a car.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon at around midday, while his partner was travelling on the Ruthin Road slip road, towards Plas Madoc.

Mark’s son suddenly stopped breathing and became non responsive, causing his partner to attempt to get help from passing motorists.

Mark told Wrexham.com: “My partner was panicking as my son was non responsive and not breathing. She flagged down a passing car asking for help and another car stopped too.

“One of the drivers grabbed a blanket from their car and wrapped my son in it. They then lay him on his side and this helped him to clear his airways.”

Now Mark is looking for the two motorists who stopped and helped his son, so he can pay his gratitude and return the blanket which was wrapped around his son.

Mark added: “We would both like to thank them for their help and if possible get the blanket returned to them.”

If anyone out there knows the names or Twitter user names of the two drivers, please get in touch with us and we can pass a message on – or via Mark Hughes direct via Twitter on @ubzi01.
