Bin lorry overturns and catches fire on A483 by Rhostyllen

Update 4pm: Traffic Wales have published these images of the burnt out bin lorry recovery. Adding, “Main carriageway remains closed travelling southbound J3 due to earlier lorry fire. Traffic is being diverted off at J3 off slip and back on via J3 on slip. Traffic is coping well with the closure.

Update 3:30pm : Recovery is ongoing however the road has reopened to traffic.

UPDATE 1:14pm – Traffic Wales have said “Traffic is currently being diverted off at J3 off slip and back on via J3 on slip. Main carriageway travelling southbound at J3 is currently blocked due to a lorry fire. ”

A lorry has caught fire on the A483 bypass this lunchtime.

Traffic is stopped on both carriageways. Southbound traffic is queuing due to the incident, however northbound is flowing.
