The summer holidays are finally here and with six weeks ahead, you may be looking for children’s activities taking place across Wrexham.

Wrexham’s Family Information Service (WFIS) have pulled together a booklet of events and activities taking place across the county borough and beyond for your use.

Across the county borough there’s plenty going from old favourites like free swimming and playwork to new initiatives like piano, guitar and drums lessons at Acton Community Resource Centre.

Cllr Paul Rogers, Lead Member for Youth Services and Anti Poverty, said: “The WFIS do an excellent job of pulling this booklet together which will be really handy for parents and carers who have the job of keeping their charges amused for the school holidays.

“There’s also some great free activities including many in our country parks which are always worth a visit.”

There are plenty of activities taking place over the next six weeks suitable for children of all ages.
