A local youth choir is taking part in a concert next month to raise funds for a worthy cause.

All the money raised from Dragonsong’s performance will be in aid of Dynamic, a centre based in Wrexham for children and young people with disabilities.

The concert takes place at Central Station in town on Friday 13th June.

Dragonsong is a modern choir for 11-18 year olds in Wrexham and the surrounding areas. New members are always welcome and no auditions are necessary. They say “It’s all about taking part, having fun and making new friends.”

The choir recently celebrated their first birthday and as part of the celebrations, invited Wrexham’s AM Lesley Griffiths to become their honorary Vice President.

Ms Griffiths said: “I am always very happy to support Dragonsong. I was proud to be appointed their honorary Vice President and am looking forward to attending their concert.”

“Dragonsong is a vibrant and exciting local youth choir and as a patron of Dynamic, I am delighted the members have decided to support such a worthy cause.”

“I hope people come out in force on Friday 13 June to support both Dragonsong and Dynamic, two groups that make a great and positive difference to young people’s lives in our local community.”
