An evening of hip-hop, live-music and spoken word poetry has been organised to help raise vital funds for a men’s mental health charity.

The charity event at XS Wrexham, on Abbot Street, will take place from 8pm on Friday April 12.

It will feature performances from Lizzie Squad, Dave Acton, Tom Hadaway, Funk Records & Guests, HDEE, Matt Nicholls, Edy Ghost P, J.P and Blearz.

All profits from the event will go to Andy’s Man Club – a charity which helps to raise vital essential awareness of men’s mental health.

A representative from Andy’s Man Club will also be joining organisers at the event tomorrow night.

A spokesperson for the event said: “We are basically a group of young people coming together to put on a show to raise money and essential awareness for men’s mental health and encouraging people to talk.

“A lot of us have lost someone or know someone affected, so we do really want to raise awareness for the cause.

“As well as raising awareness for the matter, we will have a point of contact on hand with information on where to get support if needed – something not everyone may have access to.

“We are looking forward to coming together to make music and support our brothers during difficult times.”

The event will be this Friday at Xs Wrexham at 8pm. Tickets / donations are £5 on the door will all profits going towards Andy’s Man Club.

More information about the event can be found below or on the XS Wrexham Facebook page.
