Investigation underway following attempted robbery at newsagents

An investigation is underway following an attempted robbery at a shop in Wrexham last night.

NWP CID Eastern confirmed in the early hours of this morning that they are investigating the attempted incident at AVS News, Norman Road.

The incident took place at around 7pm.

Police say anyone with any further information should contact them on 101 and quoting V179556
