It’s set to be an icy start to tomorrow morning with a weather warning in place across Wrexham.

The Met Office have put a yellow weather warning in place for much of Wales – which is valid between 2am and 10am on Tuesday 3rd January.

Details released by the Met Office say: “Please be aware that untreated surfaces, such as pavements and some minor roads, are likely to turn very slippery later Monday night and on Tuesday morning. A few freezing fog patches are also possible.

“A very cold night is in store, and as moister air comes in contact with cold surfaces later, the potential for a lot of frost to form, rendering some surfaces hazardous.”
