‘Huge Bang’ As Another Car Arsoned In Wrexham

A car has been deliberately set alight in Wrexham this evening.

The incident occurred around 8:30pm in Pentre Gwyn by Abenbury Road in Caia, with the fire service called at 8:33pm.

One local resident told us of a ‘huge bang’ as the car was alight: “The whole car has gone up. Huge bang because they set the engine up.”

Fire and police attended the scene, with police seen patrolling the local area shortly after.

The fire service told Wrexham.com that one crew from Wrexham attended and the car has been left with 100% fire damage, and it has been confirmed as ‘deliberate ignition’.

The same area was subject to a suspected vehicle arson around Halloween as well as this evening.
