An appeal has been made for the return of a stolen sign that has been outside the Wrexham Lager club for around 40 years.

UPDATE: As the sign was not replaced a new one has been commissioned and installed:

Wrexham.com were told today of the appeal starting to try and secure its return, with fears the sign could be sold as memorabilia or even for scrap.

The sign was pulled off the wall and stolen at some point between closing on Monday and Tuesday morning.
