Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board have said this afternoon “our Emergency Departments are extremely busy at present.”

The warning is accompanied with a reminder: “If you are feeling unwell or have been injured but the problem is not a medical emergency, there are options to help you get the right advice or treatment to reduce delays in getting the care that you need.”

Options are listed on the Health Board’s site here, that notes if you have a medical emergency, a critical or life threatening problem call 999.

Wrexham.com runs the @WrexMaelorBot twitter bot, that scrapes the NHS app data on local waiting times and publishes it to twitter.

Earlier this afternoon the data was showing queue length in the high eighties, which is quite high compared to usual figures, with a several hour wait predicted.

Our ‘wait time bot’ can be found @WrexMaelorBot with the latest output below. It grabs the realtime NHS provided data and tweets it out / records it publicly.
