‘Hatchet’ Robbery At Wrexham Store – Police Appeal For Information

Police are appealing for information following a robbery in Wrexham just after 6am this morning.

At around 6.15am today (November 9th) a man entered the Premier Store on Abenbury Road, Wrexham armed with a hatchet and demanded money from the till.

No one was hurt during the incident and the offender left on foot with a quantity of cash.

The suspect was wearing black clothing, including a hooded top, and is described as white, about 20 years old, 5ft 6ins tall and of slight build.

DI Lee Boycott said: “I am appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have seen this man before or soon after the incident, to come forward.

“I am also appealing to anyone who has information which may help our investigation to contact police on 101 quoting reference S172058.”
